Welcome to Channel City Kennel Club

Established in 1970, Channel City Kennel Club is a non-profit dog club devoted to furthering and protecting the interests of purebred dogs and fanciers.  CCKC is a member club of the American Kennel Club. Our activities include conducting AKC Dog Shows and Obedience Trials, Matches, seasonal Handling Class, Canine Ambassadors, Paws to Read, and Canine Good Citizenship tests.

We encourage good sportsmanship at all AKC events. The club promotes the general welfare of dogs in our society via public education and responsible dog ownership.

Have you ever
wanted to know:

  • What a Kennel Club does?
  • Where to get reliable dog information?
  • Where to find the right breed for you?
  • How to socialize and raise a responsible dog?
We have info for you! Call us and we will be happy to help.
Our Club meets the first Wednesday of each month at 7:30pm at the Santa Barbara Humane Society.  We believe in the more members, the more the love of dogs can continue.  At most meetings we have a speaker or other educational program on a variety of dog-related topics.

Handling Classes begin Wednesday, May 7th at 6:30 p.m. at the Santa Barbara Humane Society.

The public is welcome to attend and participate!

Please feel free to reach out to us if you have questions.
We welcome new members.
